Bias

We have looked at various aspects of the development of a research project. In an earlier post, we looked at Study Designs and the Study Population. This may be a good time to have an overview of the different sort of bias that may influence a research project. An understanding of the various forms of bias can help with a more robust study design and choice of more robust study procedures.

I am sharing a presentation with some of the common bias. Please feel free to critically analyze, adapt or adopt as you see fit. However, I do recommend that you also do your research on various forms of bias.

Personally, I usually revisit this presentation before I fixate on the study procedures.
